Piezography® Pro

Lucid Imaging is the home of Piezography® Pro printmaking and printing in the UK.

In March 2021, we converted one of our four large format printers to make full monochrome split-tone carbon-pigment archival prints. Comprising 10 sumptuous black inks, of which there are four each of cool and warm black shades, plus a Photo HD black, Matte UltraHD black (world's blackest) and a 'Gloss Chroma Optimiser' eradicating all gloss differential. With our experience and creative collaboration we produce sensational uniquely reproducible prints on a wide variety of papers up to 44" wide.

If your art or project requires, we can print up to 64" shortest side in glorious archival wide-gamut colour pigment or Advanced Black & White Photo.

Artist-run Piezography® UK Print Studio

An artist, photographer and skilled archival printmaker, Denise N Ebanks is the founder of Lucid Imaging. Denise brought large format Piezography® Pro split-tone monochrome carbon pigment printmaking to the UK in March 2021 for her own art print project and subsequently yours. So impressed by the results, she offered it as a service to other artists, photographers and of course, galleries.

Denise is interested in bringing the body into seeing and making prints that resonate to evoke a sensation in the viewer.

We are based in Croydon, Greater London and have collaborated remotely with clients as far as Hong Kong and Taiwan to make exhibition prints.
About

A collaborative experience

The move to a bespoke and creative collaborative printmaking experience stemmed from a 'day of play' making prints with artist, photographer and reader in photography, Dr Eugénie Shinkle. After scanning an immaculate 20-year old transparency and making Piezography® Pro test prints on various papers, the comparison to the original darkroom print was phenomenal.
